Keyless GO on CLA?
I looked through the order guide but did not see mention of the Keyless GO system. Is it standard on the CLA or not available?

I use it every day on my ML and would not be happy if I cannot spec Keyless Go on a CLA250.

I honestly don't know. I hope it isn't standard. I heard a lot of those Smart Key cars get stolen very easily. If you are within 15 feet of the car anyone can press the door unlocker and enter your car. and if your car has push start they could just drive away with it.

Respectfully, you have been misinformed. The system is truly smart and will not unlock the car for anyone without the smart key transponder on his/her person. When you pull the door handle, the key transponder must be very close to the door (like in someone's pocket or purse). 15 feet is much too far away, especially for recent generations of the system. It really is not something to worry about. Maybe it used to be, but not on new Benzes.

And if car theft is a real concern in your area, then I bet you can get a CLA without Keyless Go.

I will not be getting keyless go. I had a friend with a 2012 Nissan that got stolen that way. I don''t know about the benz system but I honestly don't like much technology in my car. Luxuries are one thing but how can turning a key be a hassle?

RE: Keyless GO on CLA?
UPDATE

I wrote Mercedes-Benz USA and they confirmed that the CLA-Class in the U.S. does not feature Keyless Go.

Maybe they will add it later. Undecided

Re: Keyless GO on CLA?
I'm a police officer in bergen county new jersey and we have a had a bunch of these cars stolen. The big thing is ALL OF THE CARS had the keys inside then sitting in driveway. And being an owner of a grand cherokee with keyless enter and go it's much much less than 5 feet sometimes if it's in the pocket away from the car it won't work... Even when the fob was new.

RE: Keyless GO on CLA?
I saw a video of the cla release in the uk and the key is on the ignition of the vehicle, then again it may be optional but in that vehicle there was no keyless go system.

Still don't know why we will not have Keyless Go in the CLA250.

RE: Keyless GO on CLA?
I'm praying this car gets the option for keyless go and push to start. I'm way to use to it now. Turning a key is not much of a hassle, but not having to take your key out of your pocket to get in your car and drive away does come in handy a lot. Its very convenient at times and its becoming the standard.
